En IICD nos interesamos por los grandes problemas de nuestro tiempo y del futuro de la humanidad en nuestro planeta.

Dos problemas saltan a la vista. El primero es la brecha creciente entre los ricos y pobres y como el sistema lleva cada día a mas personas a la pobreza, mientras las grandes corporaciones se lucran. El otro, son las consecuencias de las acciones del hombre como el calentamiento global y el cambio climático, que junto con la escases de combustibles fósiles van a cambiar nuestra vidas drásticamente en las próximas décadas y posiblemente amenace nuestra sobrevivencia. Estas consecuencias afectaran de peor manera a los mas pobres. Estos son grandes problemas que solo podemos superar organizándonos y trabajando juntos

En nuestros programas, tratamos los grandes asuntos de nuestro tiempo, investigamos soluciones sostenibles e inclusivas y nos atrevemos a soñar con un futuro para las personas. Nuestros programas incluyen un periodo de servicio, donde viajamos a África o Latino América para trabajar al lado de los pobres asegurando las necesidades básicas como educación, salud, agua, producción de alimentos y luchando contra el VIH/SIDA.
